It's so confusing that some fonts are free on this site but not free on other sites. And sometimes, they were not uploaded by the authors.
That's why I've rounded up 10 of the best free script fonts for you to use in the next papercut projects. They're thick and smooth enough to give a clean cut at small size.

1. Pacifico
Pacifico is a script font designed by Vernon Adams. Its thick line can give a nice cut at 36pt. This font can fit with a variety of papercut templates.
2. Calega
Calega is a friendly monoline font that has the same thickness for every line. 28pt is enough to get a neat cut on paper. Its characters are widely spread so it won’t hide your beautiful layers.
3. Shelly
Shelly is a stylish and sweet script that brings energy to your design. It has both thin and thick lines so 48pt is the smallest size that you can cut without breaking the word.
4. Marcela Script
Marcela Script is a modern calligraphy font with a charming slim body that is straight and clean. It's a perfect match for sweet and wedding design. But its small line requires at least 96pt to be well cut.
5. Hearted
Hearted is another calligraphic handwritten font. With its looping, joined glyphs and soft curves, it's perfect for cutesy and elegant projects. 9. Bhineka
Bhineka is another font to add a classic feel to sporty or vintage shadow boxes. One downside is that many characters don’t connect to each other, so you may need to move them or add a tail to join them into one path. I think 60pt will give you enough thickness to cut this font well.
10. Predators
Predators is the last font in this list. This font closely mimics real handwriting, offering a subtle cursive that doesn’t include a bunch of flourishes. Instead, it emphasizes widely spaced letters and the look of someone taking pen to paper. It’s very small so you may need to type the word at least 138pt to make it big enough for cutting.
