When it comes to papercraft, it's important to choose the right glue without acid to prevent your project from being wrinkled and discolorized overtime. Glue is the bond that keeps your piece of art together (and holds your love), so you want a choice that's adequate for the task.

I'll go over some of the best liquid glue to help you pick the most suitable one for your needs.

1. Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue

The Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue is an excellent choice for a wide range of papercraft projects.

It dries clear cause no wrinkles on paper above 180gsm (65lb). In large amount, it will warp thinner papers. But the tips in the kit can prevent this problem. The ultra-fine and fine tips spread just enough glue and give you the best control on the most delicate details.

Since fine tips are prone to clogging, the manufacturer included a cleaning pin. You can thrust this pin through the tip before closing the lid to keep the tips in good condition.

Although it's a little bit pricey, it just needs a fine amount to hold, so a bottle can last very long and its quality totally worth it.

2. Art Glitter Glue

Art Glitter Glue together with the Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, are the two best glue recommended by most papercraft fellowship. If you can afford one of them in your country, you don't need to try any other glue.

Art Glitter Glue has no glitter, it's just the name. Like Bearly Art Precision Glue, this product has a plastic nozzle and an ultra-fine metal tip, as well as a pin to help you unclog the nozzle. It dries clear and faster than Bearly Art. The price is also more reasonable.

3. Aleene's Original Tacky Glue

If you don't want to invest too much money into adhesive, Tacky Glue is a good choice. It's also more accesible to people outside the US or Canada. At least, it's availble in my country, Vietnam, so I don't have to order it on Amazon like the first 2 options.

It's strong and dries fast. However, the bottle is pretty hard to squeeze the glue  out and the nozzle is not small enough to use on tiny detail. You may buy another bottle with fine tip and transfer the glue into.

In addition, this glue causes small warping when applying on a large area, so it's not a really good choice for cardmaking and scrapbooking.

4. Bostik Multi Purpose Adhesive

This is what I mainly use for my papercrafts. It's also available in Vietnam like the Tacky Glue.

Bostik Multi Purpose Adhesive is a glue pen with fine tip to apply glue on small details. The texture is a little thicker than Tacky Glue. It dries considerably fast and strong. In addition, it doesn't cause warping when I make greeting cards.

These are 4 of the best liquid craft glue that I have used for my papercraft. If you know other great adhesive for paper, please share it in the comments so we have more option for perfect creations.
